Electron

The electron is a subatomic particle with a negative elementary electric charge. As a member of the lepton family, electrons are thought to be elementary, lacking any substructure. With a mass much smaller than protons, electrons exhibit quantum properties like intrinsic spin and the inability to share quantum states. They display both particle and wave characteristics, more readily showing wave behavior due to their low mass and long de Broglie wavelength.
