Moscovium

Moscovium, a highly radioactive element, was first created in a lab in 2003 by bombarding americium with calcium ions. It is named after the Moscow region in Russia, where the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research is located. Moscovium has the atomic number 115 and is represented by the symbol Mc on the periodic table.
