Saturn

from Terraforming Wiki

Saturn, the sixth planet from our Sun, is a colossal gas giant that reigns supreme as the second-largest celestial body in our Solar System. With an impressive average radius that spans approximately nine-and-a-half times that of Earth, this majestic planet boasts an astonishingly low density, a mere one-eighth of our home planet. Yet, despite its relatively low density, Saturn's mass surpasses that of Earth by an astounding factor of over 95. Intriguingly, while Saturn's size rivals that of the mighty Jupiter, its mass is less than one-third of its gargantuan counterpart. This cosmic wonder embarks on a grand orbital journey around the Sun, traversing a vast distance of 9.59 astronomical units (AU), equivalent to 1,434 million kilometers. Saturn's cosmic dance around our star unfolds over a period of 29.45 Earth years, a testament to its majestic presence in the celestial realm.
