Tundra

from Terraforming Wiki

In physical geography, tundra is a biome characterized by extremely cold temperatures, minimal precipitation, and limited vegetation growth. The term "tundra" originates from the Russian language, which borrowed it from Sámi languages. Tundra is primarily found in three regions: the Arctic, high-altitude alpine areas, and Antarctica.
