Gluon

Gluons are elementary particles with no mass that carry the strong force between quarks. As massless vector bosons with a spin of 1, gluons act as the exchange particles in the strong interaction. Gluons bind quarks together into hadrons like protons and neutrons, following the rules of quantum chromodynamics (QCD).
